It is located 3.2 km from Hollywood Bowl and features luggage storage space. Visitors also love the guest-only roof deck bar and restaurant and an outdoor shower for post-beach rinses. Although this was a short trip of 5 days, the room was serviced 3 times during our stay. The staff are professional and helpful, throughout the hotel. In the restaurant the choice of food at breakfast was similar to at least a 5star, rather than 4.
The “room” was more of an apartment with a master bedroom/living room/kitchen as well as two separate bathrooms, an office/guest bedroom and a lounge/guest bedroom. The entire living unit was beautifully furnished, kitchen and bathrooms were very modern and the bed was comfortable. Shutters on the Beach is one of LA's most quintessential properties. Not only does it have a gorgeous location right on the sand, but it's also easy walking distance to some of the biggest tourist attractions including the Santa Monica Pier and its iconic theme park and Ferris wheel. There are 47 rooms here — all oceanfront — with modern wood furnishings and a curated selection of wines for a distinctly beachy, Southern California vibe.
The property is situated 2 km from Venice Beach, 2.7 km from Venice Beach Boardwalk and 6.4 km from Santa Monica Pier. The place is cozy and fully equipped with everything you may need. Parking inside the building and has space even for a big car. Literally 10 min to beach, supermarket VONS and coffee shops. The building is quite old and the view is on the stairs but I would recommend it anyway.The host was super responsive and helped with every request. Offering a garden and garden view, Elaine's Hollywood Bed & Breakfast is situated in Los Angeles, 1.6 km from Dolby Theater and 2.8 km from Capitol Records Building.
Best part of the stay was the STAFF, everyone was really really helpful and friendly. Boasting a panoramic ocean view and an oversized elegant white fireplace, One Pico offers seasonal cuisine on intimate tables with blue plush chairs. The beachfront café, Coast offers a casual atmosphere with a bar and lite bites.
